Terms and conditions

What we commit to, what we expect from you, and what happens when either side wants out.

Last updated 2 October 2026

  1. Scope

These terms govern access to and use of the AJJA platform. Creating an account means accepting what is written here.

  2. Account

The account is for professional use and must be created by someone with authority to bind the business.

You are responsible for your team's credentials and for what is done with them. The audit trail records who did what, which helps both sides when it matters.

  3. Free trial

The trial lasts 14 days and is free. A card is required at the start, and Stripe validates it without charging it. On the 15th day after you subscribe, we automatically charge the plan you chose, plus VAT, unless you cancel before that date on the billing page. If you cancel before then, you pay nothing. After that, the cancellation rules in these terms apply.

  4. Plans and payment

The subscription is per business and renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled before renewal.

Advertised prices exclude VAT, which is added at the rate in force and shown separately at payment. A certified invoice is issued and emailed after each payment.

Some modules are add-ons billed separately, per client. They are identified as such before you switch them on.

  5. Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like, with no exit fee. The service runs to the end of the period already paid for; we do not refund the unused part of that period.

Export your data before you cancel. Once the account is closed, the database is deleted.

  6. Your data is yours

We claim no ownership over anything you upload. We do not use your business data to train models and we do not sell it to anyone.

  7. Acceptable use

You may not use the platform for unlawful activity, to upload data you have no right to process, to attempt to reach another client's data, or to deliberately overload the service.

  8. Tax and legal duties are yours

The platform prepares SIBA reports, INE returns, tourist tax and tax calculations from the data it holds. Prepares — it does not take on the responsibility.

The business owner is the one answerable to the tax authority, AIMA, INE and the municipality. Always check before submitting. The previews exist for exactly that.

  9. Availability

We do what we can to keep the service up, but there is no contracted service level unless separately agreed in writing.

The security page lists, without hedging, what we do not have yet. Read it before deciding.

  10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it.

Nothing here excludes liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything the law does not permit us to exclude.

  11. Suspension

We may suspend an account for non-payment or for breach of acceptable use. We warn you first, except where suspension is immediately necessary to protect other clients.

  12. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we email you before it takes effect.

Portuguese law applies. Any dispute goes to the courts of Faro, to the exclusion of any other.
