Ride-hailing fleet · Algarve
King Fleet
A ride-hailing fleet recruiting drivers who own their own car.
The address opens the real site, exactly as it stands today.
It is the only one of the five that does not sell to businesses: it sells to the person driving. The site answers the three questions a driver asks before any other — what they keep, which car qualifies, and how long it takes to start — and only then asks for the application.
The application checks the vehicle's eligibility as it is filled in, against the law in force. When that law changed in September 2026, the age limit stopped being a single number and became fuel-dependent: ten years for combustion, twelve for electric. The fuel question moved ahead of the age question, because without it the answer is ambiguous.
The rules live in code with tests, not in a sentence hand-written in three languages: when the law changes again, what gets corrected is the rule, and the three language versions follow.
How it works, in three pieces
- The cap can be watched moving
- A simulator where you change the week's takings and watch the commission: 10% until it hits €50, flat from there on. The point where the line bends is worked out from the two published numbers rather than written by hand, so it follows them if either changes. A week without takings is a week without paying: there is no minimum.
- The fuel question comes before the age question
- The TVDE law in force since 1 September 2026 splits the limit: combustion up to ten years, electric up to twelve. The eleven-to-twelve band can only be decided once the fuel is known, so that is the question that comes first — and the application says whether the car qualifies before asking for contact details from someone who already cannot join.
- What is missing comes back in the order it takes
- TVDE certificate, criminal record certificate, group II endorsement on the licence, TVDE insurance. The application returns what is left to sort out in that order — how long each document takes to come through — and not in the order the questions happened to be answered, which tells a driver who wants to start nothing at all.
Four screens from the site
Weekly commission simulator
With €600 of takings in a week the commission sits at the €50 cap and the net is €550. The chart shows where the line stops climbing.
The car: fuel, age, doors
The application's first step asks whether the car is combustion or electric, its age and its door count. On the right, the "what you've answered" list fills in.
The paperwork, one item at a time
The second step asks about each document — TVDE insurance, certificate, group II endorsement, criminal record — with three answers: have it, in progress, not yet.
Requirements, and what if one fails
The requirements page splits the car from the driver and writes, under each requirement, what to do if it is not met.
